Getting Started
In order to get your facility up and ready to broadcast live interactive lectures, there are some steps that need to be taken:
- Make sure that you have a fast connection to the internet. Call your local internet provider and make sure that you have at least 500K per second upload speeds. Often, internet providers offer slower upload speeds as their basic packages so be sure to ask about the 500K per second upload speed. Also, it is recomended that the physical internet connecion is located within 100 feet of where you plan to broadcast. Also note, cable internet is typically faster than DSL in the USA.
- Now you will need some equipment. Depending on the size and style of lectures or classes, you may require an LCD projector and screen. See the pricing section for recommendations and estimates for all the equiptment that you will need.
- to arrange for one of our many speakers to virtually come to your location. If there is a speaker that you would like to request, you may click here.
